Meet the Human Behind RITP

Hi, I'm Brittney. 

I'm the woman behind the camera, the write behind the stories, and usually the one with dog hair on my clothes and dirt in my boots. 

I started Ruckus in the Panhandle because I believe the American West is more than a place - it's a way of life. It's found in the horses that bring us home, the wildlife that remind us we're only visitors, the ranch dogs that somehow become family, and the people who still believe a handshake means something. 

Through photographs and the Backroad Journal, my goal is simple: to preserve the stories that deserve to be remembered. Not just the grand landscapes or the once-in-a-lifetime moments, but the quiet ones too. The early mornings. The long dirt roads. The hard work. The laughter. The lessons. The people and places that often go unnoticed but shape this way of life every single day. 

Ruckus in the Panhandle isn't just about photography. It's about slowing down long enough to notice worth protecting. Then making sure those stories are still here for the next generation. 

That belief is also why RITP is built on a Pay What You Want model. 

I don't believe beautiful photographs and meaningful stories should only belong to those that can afford premium prices. If one of my images speaks to you, I want you to have it.
